Scotland is unlike any place I have ever seen. Edinburgh is one of the most interesting and unique cities I have ever been too. It is hard to explain why, but it's old and new at the same time, sits on a giant hill, has strange winding roads and walkways, and a giant castle right on top, of course.
St. Andrews is gorgeous. I got to go there for a day trip with a group on a bus and I just wandered around by myself for hours. It was such a nice and freeing experience to be able to just be on my own and do whatever I felt like doing. I saw St. Andrews University, (which is much different than Weber State to say the least haha) wandered into a the cutest bookstore I've ever seen, had some nice rose tea in a little cafe, saw St. Andrews Cathedral and Castle, and the Old Course/Golf Links which is where golf was invented basically.
I honestly didn't have enough time to see everything I wanted to in Edinburgh, but that just means I will have to go back one day right?!
